one trick pony

that's me. all i can talk about this week is paul. maybe that is annoying, but just continue to ignore my posts if so. i have never felt so bursting with pride. partially, that is because he is finally getting the kind of press that he deserves, such as in the following two articles. i realize that we all deserve press for the amazing things done from day to day at our jobs. so many of you are out there making a difference every day and don't get much credit for it. but when i see a movie like school of rock - and then i fall asleep next to the real, legitimate, version of that, i get really excited. to see other people recognize it makes all the hours of work by paul, his students, and volunteers (mostly riverfield parents) worth it. you have to find joy wherever you can, and i find joy in knowing i married a fantastic person.

PLEASE do me the great honor of reading the following articles.

Tulsa World, Scene Section

Urban Tulsa

link to tulsa world pics that are amazing of his "varsity band", en fuego. they play only original music.

now i am back to planning my arts festival that, amazingly, takes place the same day as his concert. no rest for the weary!
