Valen-whaa?

okay, it's like a thing. paul and i don't DO valentines day. i mean, you understand. it ruins new years' resolutions with its calories, it burdens pocketbooks, and it promotes the kind of crass commercialrelationshipism that i try not to support.

i don't hate it or anything, we just don't usually roll like that. we make a handmade card and remind each other that yes, we do still love each other, and call it a day!

but today, paul had flowers sent to me at work! not like, he bought them and gave them to me (he does work there, after all) but HAD them sent! and then brought me a cutie card - do you see it? it's cute), and i have to say, i was touched.




god knows i love me some gerberas.

aaaaaaanyway, then my boss rolls in with this action:

i had to smell them all morning!
