you've been patient

All right, here you go. If you're even remotely interested, here's what we were up to for most of March and the first bit of April!

We went to our school's annual fundraising auction, and dressed according to the theme: 80s!

Paul and I helped with a baby shower for Aime and Alex Pope. Aime works in the K-1 wing at Riverfield. Pictured with P is Keri, who cohosted with another of A&A's friends.

We had a snowy Saturday that P and Sketch got out and played in, while Coda and I stayed warm inside. We made chili. It was a great day.

And cohosted the wonderful Jenny-bug's shower - despite a lot of wind, it was fun, just like J-bug herself. And we got to see the lovely little Lucia while we were at it!

So, yeah.

Tomorrow is the Tulsa World Satellite Battle of the Bands - for the second straight year, Paul has awesome students who have gotten in to the Battle. Last year's group, if you'll recall, won via an online vote for a runoff spot. These awesome kids got in before the runoff spot this year, and we're really excited to see them perform tomorrow at the Cain's Ballroom (starts at 8, they play around 9, tix $5 at the door). Here's a link to their awesome article, songs from their EP, and some great pix of the band.

After that, there's the Death Cab for Cutie concert on (Easter) Sunday, Prom next weekend, an all-school trip to OU with a lock-in in the week after, Earth Day/Field Day, Standardized testing, finals, graduations, etc. Springtime is crazy at a school!

Hope this long blog was worth the wait!
