stands for Gosh Darn Graphic Design.(its possible my students read this so i have to watch the language)
LESSON LEARNED: i do not really want to be a freelance graphic designer. at least not when i can't just take the shizz to kinkos and have them cut/fold/etc. yeah that's fine. but when your grandparents want some sorta elegant gold bordered thingie for their fiftieth wedding anniversary invitation and they very nicely asked you to design it, you do it no matter how much of a pain in the ass it is.
oh, and it is.
yeah, it's two am, but i am printing away. at least i finally got the settings right so the daNG thing didn't come out crooked any longer. AND i learned all about mail merge envelopes, so at least i got an important life skill out of the deal, right?
so i am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel on these invitations- when i am done with them, i can just stress about what the crap i will wear to the anniversary party next month!
wow, it's june. the time goes by so fast!
i should have some photos of these new invites on the GD blog like, you know, sometime. so yeah, n stuff.

i used to tell this little kid i know to shut the "s" up because i felt bad for saying shut-up. i know it's hard to believe i can censor myself, but dammit, i do my best.
