well our electricity was finally restored last night, around 10:30 pm. very relieved- now we just have to wait until trash day (tomorrow) so we can empty out our entire damn fridge! ew!
in other news, i leave this sunday for exciting branson, mo. for a work trip and will return wed. afternoon just in time to teach art lessons. normally i dont mind these things (because they buy me steak dinners and whatnot), but i found out we're staying in a hotel with no gym, and my gym doesnt have a branch there. looks like i will be hanging out in my room or with the "good ol' boys" from work. and AND AND i have to wear an "SI VETERANS MEMORIALS" polo the whole time. gawd.
what else? tonight i work. paul is on his new summer schedule for work which is just as insane as his regular schedule. he got a tablet pc from riverfield to learn about since he will be teaching the highschoolers on them in the fall- it is so awesome! i love drawing with it!

seriously, though, I'm glad you're okay. how crazy! I was telling my friends about it at the durham bulls game last night, and the guy in front of us knew what microbursts were 'cause he used to work for airlines--it was nuts!
