rite of spring

last night, i ventured home after a long day of work in the most beautiful of weather. relieved to be at home with only some photoshop work to do on the last day of the worst month, i let my doggies outside to play (and poop) and wandered around the yard a bittle. that is when i noticed these precious gems hidden in the back of the yard:














to me, they were a ray of sunshine and a promise of spring - productivity, warmth, and plenty. they smelled simply, like hope. and encouragement. it's cheesy, but it's totally true. i think it made my whole day. so i lovingly arranged them (in a shot glass, no less...they're a bit small) and took a pic to share with you!




in addition, here's my baby coda snuggling a pillow. she's a little underrepresented here on the blog, but never under-loved. look how she hugs the pillow! its so cute.
