Ogunquit Beach

The Maine part of our trip was truly exceptional. This is just the beach part of it- right out the window from the place we were staying.

(I recommend clicking these pics to see the details - i didnt adjust colors much so you could see the beauty of even the overcast days)

The first two days it rained and was overcast, but we didn’t mind at all.

You might also be able to tell how huge the difference is between high tide and low tide. The area has an 8-foot tide! It was really remarkable and like nothing I’d seen.

It was so relaxing! We would get up early in the mornings to go adventuring.

We spent most of our time on the smaller little section of the beach near our hotel, but you can see the larger part of the beach with more hotels in some photos. We went down there on the last day and played in the water (only about waist-deep for paul, thigh-deep for me- the water was cooooo-ooo-old) sans camera. You can also see the walkway we were on above the water, which connects the resorts/hotels with the neighborhoods. It is a beautiful walk.
