where to begin?

we don't even have any crazy reason for not blogging. it just hasn't been a priority! one of these days i will post more of the new hampshire pics, we barely got started there. but that is old news. last weekend was homecoming week at school, and on friday night we chaperoned the homecoming dance. that was actually pretty fun. saturday we had a few friends from work, along with maria and amari, over to watch the patriots game. also fun. sunday we hung out with amari and maria for dinner and did some shopping, cleaning and organizing. a good weekend! this week has been busy with college night at school and my most recent obsession, THE GREAT CLOSET REORGANIZATION of 2008. I am trying to find a better way to store things in our older, not exactly enormous, house. i bought some under-the-bed thingies on sunday, but to my dismay they did not fit! so now i have some soft bag-style ones, rather than hard plastic. what should i store under there?

here are a few pics of my new closet storage (paul and i have mostly separate closetage). i wanted a fast fix, so i went the rubbermaid route rather than the hammer-and-nails-and-wood route. you can see all my hanging clothes have just been shoved in the back....it's been a few days and i am keeping things neat, so let's hope it stays that way!

um, what else. we have tried to no avail to exchange christmas presents with certain members of my family, and we are hoping to get that done this weekend. they have been sitting here wrapped since before christmas!

right now i am watching amari for a while to give poor maria a chance to get some things done! here are some pics of his cuteness...

so yeah. That is really about it. i don’t have any exciting news or vacations or pregnancies (though have you seen kat's ultrasound pics? love that. so excited!) or anything. just been trying to regroup and get my shizz together. it’s all part of my new years resolutions, actually. so i hope i haven’t been blowing anyone off in the meantime- if so i promise to call soon! i guess i have been just nesting a bit.

for the rest of this weekend? i am going to buy some groceries, clean, maybe have a date with my husband, and work on some graphic design stuff. good times!
