like my cute ass tree that is way bigger than last years. do you remember this:
yeah we got a big (7.5 feet maybe?) tree this year and STILL have PLENTY of ornaments to fill it, which is totally cool with me!
i also climbed up on the roof yesterday to put some xmas lights on the house (there were already nails on the roofline so that was sweet, and yes paul watched to make sure i didn't fall to my death!). so the house is pretty xmas-ready, and i've planned the menu for the PARTY on XMAS EVE WHICH YOU ARE COMING TO IF YOU WILL BE IN THE AREA. now i just have some more stuff to wrap and some cleaning and cooking to do! woot!
SANTA (aka paul) bought me the the AWESOMEST early xmas gift the other day:
normally i am VERY NOT INTO CHRISTMAS MUSIC but this cd has saved me- i am listening to it non-stop. it rocks. ROCKS, i tell you. come to my party. it will be playing! so thanks santa for that!
so hopefully those of you i have sent cards and gifts to will actually get them by christmas, and hopefully you will see a more interesting blog from me soon!
*off to go sing the "linus & lucy" theme to myself for a while!*
oh PS - maria should probably have given birth right now. she was scheduled to go in to be induced about 12 hours ago.....so if you're here (and by here i mean in a hospital in germany) little amari johnson, WELCOME TO THE WORLD!

My tree is smaller than that! Next year...next year! P.S. I saw a 3 pack of DVDs at Target the other day I soooo want. It includes the trilogy: "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown", "Charlie Brown Christmas", and one other I can't remember.
