the grammys were last night and i had kinda meant to watch part of them, but forgot, and really, i am glad. seems like these things are always so lame and filled with people i don't even like....sounded like it was kinda boring. thoughts?
here is what i am doing tonight with my mother in law:
greg is a friend of hers, and pam is always my art opening buddy!
p and i have kind of fallen off the face of the planet lately, as he works on his book and i work on the menu for baxters and some other stuff, and for the first time ever, i am kinda wishing we had two cpus at home so we could both use photoshop at the same time! don't tell him i said that tho, or he'll think he can run out and buy one today! (just kidding honey!)
tomorrow, however, he and i are taking the evening off and having a date night. we never do that. i have no idea what we're going to do, but whatever....i am looking forward to it!

date nights are fun. I dvr'd the grammys so i could fast forward to the performances. my take on it: i liked madonna & the gorillaz opening, i loved kelly clarkson's performance (laugh if you want, but i'm a kelly fan!), i enjoyed john legend, coldplay & sir paul. Oh, & even though kanye west gets on my last nerve- his performance was entertaining! damn that was long!
oh & if you want a computer, we have 4!! mike's love of computers is ridiculous!
oh my god i can't believe we haven't talked about it. call me a big nerd but i liked paul, lincoln park, and jayz.
i always watch awards shows... without fail. i actually thot this year's Grammys were the best I'd seen in a long time. the performances were quite good, even kanye, who i really don't like (i've never seen a celebrity so FULL of himself). coldplay was great, madonna was great, U2 was amazing w/ mary j blige... it was all good. sorry you missed it!
