hey everyone!

hope everyone had an awesome weekend...

here's ours:

the bad: garage flooded due to faulty pipes! grr! so we spent most of saturday and a chunk of sunday drying out my artwork that was wet (it was older stuff and only a few drawings and things were lost, nothing too traumatic) and throwing lots of stuff away (hey santa? we need a new tent!) and shop-vac-ing the water from the floor and other fun stuff like that. I NOW KNOW not to keep my garage so messy, and my artwork is all going in PLASTIC bins. bleah!

the good: music recitals and the student/teacher art exhibit at the brook fine arts academy went really well! my students' work looked great and i sold two pieces of my own!
also, we bought our first REAL xmas tree! exciting!

tonight is xmas shopping with pam, and getting my hair done. also this week: painting, wrapping and getting the rest of the gifts, decorating the house and tree, and finishing the garage! ack!
