1.worked. hockey night. ugh. skeezy.
2. sailed! i even got to man the helm for a while...my uncle owns a 22-foot sailboat at lake oologah...paul and i learned a lot this trip (our third sail with uncle bill) but paul definitely has more experience than i do...a lot of fun. READY ABOUT! HELM'S ALEE!
3. hung out at home! made spaghetti with italian sausage on saturday with the bottle of wine that we got as an anniversary present from jenny. yum. okay, we had another bottle after that. it's the freakin' weekend!
4.watched the browns game - they lost. dammit! but a rookie scored a 90-yard touchdown from a punt return. rock!
5. played video games. i LOVE gauntlet. paul is a blue knight and i am a red archer. watch out for my bow n arrow, bitches!
6. watched an excessive amount of Lost. LOCKE FREAKIN RULES.
7. baked cookies. oatmeal chocolate chip.
8. made chili...part ground turkey, part lean beef. and our special ingredients of course. we are working up some sort of fancy name for it...every family must have their own brand of chili.
9. slept. A LOT.
i guess this is what it feels like to have a real weekend at home? paul and i had kinda forgotten. so i dont have any cute pics and we didnt party it up at oktoberfest, but it was a great weekend all the same. we havent actually cooked TOGETHER in ages, and we did three times this weekend including the cookies. it's the little things sometimes that make you happy, yes?
TONIGHT: we carve pumpkins and watch the first Halloween movie, cause p is appalled that i have never seen it.

locke does rule! he's my favorite. sounds like you had a good weekend- we need to go camping soon. mike says he makes amazing chili- i have yet to taste it--- possible names for our chili: solano surprise, solano slop, mikes meaty masterpiece. lol-- those sound surprisingly sexual and disturbing!!
That sounds SO fun! You've guys are totally each other's lobsters (for those Friends watchers out there). :) I'd much rather have a chill weekend with someone I care about than party it up with $14.00 pitchers...(TOOOO $$$$). Miss you muchas!
PS...Locke is kick ass! But, his back story sometimes makes my sensitive self cry.. :(
Oatmeal chocolate chip is my FAVORITE! So yummy, yet you feel somewhat healthy cause there's oatmeal in it!
