havent updated in a while 'cause i keep waiting until i have pics to post, but then forget to email myself the pics here at work. grr! i will do it soon.
eureka springs, and our anniversary, were great! we went out after my HORRENDOUS night at the restaurant thursday night with max gise and his fiance. he is a friend of paul's from high school and is in grad school at the u of cincinatti. we also hung out with a couple of his friends that were a lot of fun. spent friday running errands and hanging out, and we went to see batman. oh and we had lunch with max and anna at INDIA PALACE. the best.
saturday we left for eureka springs early, and after a nice lunch we went to our massages. then we were so zonked we went to an early dinner, got in the kick-ass jacuzzi in our room, and went to bed early! it was great! spent sunday perusing shops, then headed out of town. we checked out the Pea Ridge battlefield site and took the driving tour, and visited Natural Springs State Park on our way back to Tulsa.
we then had dinner and swimming with both sets of folks. steak n bake! mmm! and our wedding cake didn't even taste bad after being frozen for a year! we decided to smash it in each other's faces since we didn't at the wedding. no cameras were in sight, unfortunately. it was a great weekend.
we're thinking of hosting another pool party on monday for the 4th if you are interested!
